Our first quiz of the 2025 season is the Pre-Season Quiz, which will take place at the Sports Pavilion on 19th November 2024. Doors open at 7 pm for a 7:30 pm start.

January 2022
Opening Quiz on 4th January 2022 - CANCELLED
We were hoping to start the 2022 season with the Opening Quiz on 4th January, but in view of the latest surge in Covid cases, we have cancelled this event and the first 3 weeks of the season in the pubs.
We hope that we can have a belated start to the season on Tuesday 1st February at 7:30 pm in the Royal Oak. However, watch this space and email announcements for any change to these arrangements.
November 2021
Our Pre-Season Quiz at the Sports Pavilion was held on Tuesday 16th November. We were delighted to have such a good turnout, despite the ongoing uncertainties about the pandemic. The winners were the Twittens, with a score of 95, so many congratulations to them! Here are the full results.

October 2020
The 2021 Pre-Season Quiz will take place at 8 pm on Tuesday 3rd November 2020. This virtual event will be hosted here on this web site and is open to all, with a £2 per head entry fee. As explained above, all the money we raise goes to local charities at the end of the season. To register, please go to newickpubquiz.com/03nov2020. After you have done this, we will send details of how to pay and a link to start the quiz on the night.

After many years of service as Chairman of the League, Brian Peacock has decided to step down. We thank him very much for all the hard work he has done over the years. As we have been unable to hold the usual AGM, Andy Wilson has temporarily agreed to be Acting Chairman and Graham Moore will be Acting Treasurer.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Pub Quiz Season was abandoned in March. Scores were frozen and no teams will be promoted or relegated.
